Being twins is the most unique wonderful gift in life and being identical we feel is very precious and the bond is very real, strong and unique.

Having each other we are very close from just looking at each other we no what the other is thinking. Or smile at the same thing sometimes we both say it out loud to which we say is stereo. 

Having the same interests we always work as a team and no what needs to be done next without asking. 


We have our differences to one of us is good at Maths and the other at English and many other differences. 

Both of us always put the other one at ease if she’s unsure of something. Or no when a hug is needed or a chat on the days events.


We both have the kindest souls genuine creative and enjoy being around people and talking and once you become our friend we keep you for life, our best friend says it’s wonderful to have one great friend but having two alike is been better. 


Most people who notice we are twins are generally nice have a chat with us or relate to a family member with twins or twin mums stop for a chat that’s nice to see there twins and they ask questions. We have twin friends too from young to older and sadly some that have lost there soul sister definitely half your heart goes with them. But you got to live for the other. And find the strength to carry on. 


But sometimes a tiny faction we are flabbergasted on there strange remarks stalking or unkindly words, We are all human doesn’t matter of your differences or in our case our likeness how would you like to be treated we ask, please try to be kind.





Here’s some questions we get all time over time……


Are you twins? Identical? Same birthday? 


Can you feel pain if the other one hurts herself?


Do you have telepathic thoughts?


Have you got the same glasses prescription? 


Is it wonderful having a twin? 


Do you weigh the same? 


Where you conceived naturally? 

 


Or we are adults and if with mum people ask mum how old are they? Hello we can speak 🗣 and They have a name. 


Most of the time we are polite sometimes speeches but If where brave we answer.🤣🤣


You guessed right!


You don’t need a degree to work that out!

We get all sorts of titles we honestly don’t mind if there kind, and working voluntary at an elderly accommodation place when we left college, we loved each and every person we spent time with and there memories with names we didn’t mind.

Mental health and being creative

  Hello it’s been a while it’s been pretty hectic around here that feeling like your running and can’t stop. Hopefully next week we have more time for self care (sewing) and catching up we must make time for ourselves you no your tried when you say yesterday but you mean tomorrow or buy Christmas cards and there 80 already under your bed brought in the sale in January lockdown and your memory is getting poor. Or you get the foot bowl out to soak your wary feet and it’s been there a week without doing them.  Being creative certainly helps your mental health everyone of there should make time for a little creative hour and keeps you thinking straight we are getting excited for our new sewing room we have been helping our daddy with the planning not long now to go. We had a trip to IKEA with mum to look at storage, desks and a cutting table which has a crank so it’s adjustable so no backpain and cutting against the wall is so annoying. We are hoping to be in there for Christmas so we can

Bridge quilters our local quilt group

  When we first attended our local Quilt group meeting 11 years ago after our course learning how to patchwork and quilt our teacher used to be a member and the groups shop with supplies. We was wracked with nerves going into a large church hall full of busy talented quilters we was thinking how will we settle and get as good as some of these. But having the same passion was all you needed we sat down and people came by and had a chat and asked what we was working on and did we enjoy the course. Fast forward 11 years we really look forward to the two meetings a month with the bridge between the towns hence the name Bridge Quilters one meeting is held in Widnes then the other is held across the bridge in Runcorn. We have had many venues since it begun and many members come and go but we think we have a wonderful group and community now over 30 members 7 new members since lockdown we are all friendly welcoming and there for the fun laughter education, quilty fabric talk, laughter, compan
